We are a small kennel showing and breeding Great
Danes.
I got my first Great Dane, Gavin the Grafter at Robessa (Kes) and
immediately became a Great Dane fan.
As we live in the north east of Scotland, there is a lot of travelling
involved, so we don't get to all the shows, but we do enjoy the ones we go
to, and are, very successful.
All our dogs are first and foremost family pets and if they do well
showing it is a bonus. When we have a litter all our puppies will be
Kennel Club registered and are from excellent pedigrees. Great care is
always taken on the temperament side to ensure confident, happy and
outgoing puppies. All our puppies are well socialised and will be exposed
to other dogs and children prior to leaving us. The puppies are raised in
the family home, not a kennel environment. When we sell puppies they must
go to loving permanent homes, and we like to be kept informed of their
progress.
All puppies are sold with Endorsements to prevent irresponsible breeding
and come with 6 weeks free insurance. One other thing I would like to add
to this is please take out pet insurance for your Great Dane because Great
Danes vet bills can be like the dog itself. Big!!!!
New owners get life time support if required, and we will always take a
puppy back if for any reason the owners cannot
keep it. I would hate to think that a dog I bred ended up in rescue.
Please take great care before making your decision to buy a Great Dane,
the little cute puppy will grow at an amazing speed, eat a lot more than
the average size dog, as well as make twice the amount of mess! It's not
fair on them or you if you suddenly find yourself with a dog that’s too
big for the house, your food budget and your life!
